July has been an extremely busy month for Diafora with three new employees joining as well as charity work and an arrival of a new order.
Firstly, Edward Holden joined the team at the start of July as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor working beneath a Senior Commercial Contracts Consultant. As well as taking on Quantity Surveying tasks, Edward is also responsible for Diafora’s social media and Website updates. Haroon Zaki also joined the team and is a Graduate Quantity Surveyor who finished his studies at Nottingham Trent University in 2023. Haroon spends his time in the Diafora office building on his set of knowledge. Finally, Daniel Olaru joined the planning department at Diafora and has helped grow this alongside our planning manager. Dan has over 15 years worth of experience in the construction industry.
The Senior Team at Diafora have been focusing on achieving the ISO 9001 Accreditation to implement quality service for clients each time. This is beneficial to Diafora as this is a quality management system that ensures the way Diafora runs is always fair for clients and staff and therefore benefits the company’s efficiency and reputation. Keep an eye on our social media for further updates on our progress in achieving this accreditation.
Diafora received an order of water bottles just in time for the hot summer weather. The bottles are large and sturdy and have the company logo on the front. This should help keep staff members hydrated and remind them to drink more!
Senior member Chris Tutin took part in an annual construction charity event to raise money for children’s charities. Chris skilfully played the keyboard in the band Hot Property to raise funds for Alex’s Wish. The rest of the team enjoyed supporting Chris and loved the music as well as the beer!
